What is this fitness equipment?
i got this fitness equipment from a friend of mine who stays in italy and this machine is made in italy by techno gym. but i don't know the name of this machine and for which body part we can use this. i used it and i feel some pump in my chest and shoulders including traps like when doing cable crossovers. does anybody have an idea about this machine? the image is available here img24.imageshack.us img24 9677 image0025w.jpg

Hi. I am about 40kg's overweight and have 3 little kids. It is extremely hard to exercise, but I am desperate and I am willing to start on whatever I can, but I need something that suits me. I have looked into treadmills and exercise bikes etc but not sure what to do.We run a business from home and it's almost impossible to get any spare time when my hubby is at home to go to the gym or for a walk. When I have some spare time during the day I don't feel like taking 2 small kids for a walk in 40 c heat which it is here in Australia at the moment . I want something that I can do at home, but not sure what is the best. I have knee and back problems which I know will improve with exercise, but its hard to do it when you're in pain. I also have thyroid issues which I am trying to get under control, but I have very little energy ... which I know will also improve once I get going.Any suggestions. Yoga is easy when you are skinny ... but not so easy when you are as overweight as I am. I am currently on a healthy eating plan, but just need help to figure out what to do about exercise.Thank you.

What CHEAP fitness equipment do you recommend?
I asked this question 2 days ago and got " answers" that didn't truly answer my question.I am looking to convert our garage into a " home gym" . I have some home fitness tools like resistance bands, fitness dvds my husband has a tv out there to watch football and yoga mat. What inexpensive gear tools should I add? I have a bike I ride around to do my errands so please don't tell me to get a stationary bike or a treadmill. I'd like real recommendations that wouldn't cost me an arm and a leg. A home gym is to save us money verses a health club membership.My husband has a weight bench and free weights out there. I do know how to use them. As far as my goals I'm looking to mix things up from my cycling power walking routine.

I already have a pair of five pound weights, an ab loungue, a punching bag and a yoga mat available for my use. However, I'm considering buying some more equipment, to challenge myself more and add variety to my workouts. I'm looking to slim down within the next 7 months for my sweet 16. Im not big on diets, but it's not like the food I eat already is unhealthy. For example, I don't drink any soda and I don't eat cake or other sweets, but I'm still chubby because I don't exercise...at all.
